All across the United States, the AFSP provides a safe place where survivors can share experiences and support each other during their initial healing process. Almost all groups are facilitated by suicide survivors, or professionals. Each year, AFSP holds survivor conferences in participating communities throughout the country on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
