YOUR AGENCY

Urbanism is a bottom-up movement. This means that positive change in your built environment has to start with the people that live, work and play there.

At Project: CASE, we believe in empowering individuals to make change in their communities, giving them the resources necessary to advocate for change.

Under the "Your Agency" tab, we give you our resources that you can use to influence the world around you. Click on "Education" to find helpful texts we've compiled to learn more about the urbanist message; use these to educate yourself and others on what it means to be a suburbanite in America. Click on "Printables" to find literature we've compiled that you can print at home to disseminate to your community. Click on "People" to get connected with others interested in this topic.

Most people living in suburbia are unaware of how much better things could be. Use us as a way to teach them.

However, building stronger, better, safer communities doesn't require you to learn, teach, or print anything. Doing something as simple as saying hello to a neighbor, offering to help a friend, or having a conversation with someone passing by on your street are all easy ways to be a positive change-maker in your built environment. Adequate suburban environments don't have to come from architects, real-estate developers, or legislators; while those people certainly help, building a better world can start with just you.
